MCP Ecommerce is an editorial site operated by Reaktion ApS, a Danish company in Copenhagen. There are no user accounts, no sign-in and no newsletter. This page lists everything the site records about a visitor and why.

Analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count page views and to see which pages are read, roughly where visits come from and which device type is used. Google sets its own cookies for this and processes the data under Google's privacy policy. The numbers are used to decide which guides to write and improve, nothing else.

Comments

When you post a question or comment, the site stores your name, the text and the time. The e-mail address is optional and is never stored as such: only a salted hash of it is kept, to detect duplicate posts and to limit how often one person can post. Your connection address is also stored only as a hash, to limit how many comments one connection can send per hour. Nothing is published until a person has read and approved it; approved comments appear on the page with the name you gave. Comments are stored on Vercel Blob, the site's file storage.

To have a comment changed or removed, write to hello@mcpecommerce.com with the page and the name on the comment.

The MCP endpoint

The site is also reachable as an MCP server at https://mcpecommerce.com/mcp. It needs no sign-in, it returns the same editorial content as the pages, and it has no write tools. It never receives or stores your store, ad account or customer data. Requests to it are handled like any other page request.

Hosting

The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles the technical request data (address, browser, requested page) needed to serve and protect the site. The site itself does not build visitor profiles from those requests.

Links to other sites

Guides and directory entries link to vendor documentation and other third-party sites. Each of those has its own privacy policy; this one stops at the link.

Your requests

You can ask what the site holds about you and ask for it to be deleted. Write to hello@mcpecommerce.com. Because e-mail addresses and connection addresses are only kept as hashes, a request is matched on the name and page you give.

Changes

When this page changes, the date at the top changes with it. Who runs the site and how to reach us: About. Rules for using the site: Terms.
