MCP servers for e-commerce

A curated list of MCP servers merchants and agencies can use today. Each entry explains what it does, how to connect it, what to ask it, what it cannot do and how to use it safely. Listings are descriptive, not endorsements.

What is an MCP server?

An MCP (Model Context Protocol) server is the connector between an AI assistant and a business tool. Once it is connected, you can ask the assistant about your ad account, store or email data in plain language and it answers from the live data, within the permissions you grant.

How to read a listing

Read-only:
can look at data, cannot change anything.
Read and write:
can also change things, so approve actions carefully.
Remote:
hosted by the vendor, usually a sign-in.
Local:
runs on your own computer, you manage credentials.

How to choose

  1. Start with read-only servers for reporting and audits.
  2. Match the server to the question: ads, store, email or payments.
  3. Prefer vendor-published servers over unknown third-party ones.
  4. Add write access later, for one supervised task at a time.
