MCP for Magento 1

Magento 1 has no MCP support, and no security updates.

Magento 1 reached end of life in June 2020 and no longer receives official security patches. No MCP server is available for it, and connecting an AI assistant to an unpatched store adds risk to a platform that is already exposed.

The practical route is to move the store to a supported platform, and to use the MCP servers for ads, analytics and email in the meantime, since those connect to the ad accounts and tools rather than to the store software.

No MCP server is available for Magento 1. The servers further down this page connect to your ad accounts, analytics, email and payments tools instead, so they still work.

Where to start with Magento 1

  1. Plan a migration to a supported platform. Migrating also unlocks the MCP options on those platforms.
  2. Meanwhile, connect the ads, analytics and email servers below, which do not depend on your store platform.
  3. Do not expose store credentials to any assistant or third-party bridge.

Servers that work with any Magento 1 setup

These connect to your ad accounts, analytics, email and payments tools, not to the store software, so they do not depend on your platform.

Frequently asked questions

+Does Magento 1 have an MCP server?

No. Magento 1 is end of life and we found no MCP server for it. Your realistic options are migrating to a supported platform and using ad, analytics and email servers in the meantime.

+Can I still use AI on my Magento 1 data?

You can analyze data that lives in connected tools such as Google Analytics, your ad accounts and your email platform. Direct access to the store itself is not recommended on an unsupported platform.
