MCP for Shopware
Shopware offers an official MCP server.
Shopware has its own MCP server, an open standard way for external AI applications and automation tools to work with a Shopware store. Clients such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can connect to it. Shopware positions it separately from Shopware Copilot, its built-in assistant inside the administration: Copilot works in the admin, the MCP server connects outside tools.
Community servers for the Shopware Admin API also exist, covering products, orders, media and CMS pages. As always, scope the credentials and test on staging first.
